In this book, we have selected 280 problems that we have used in different exams for our students of the Computer Engineering Degree at the Higher School of Computer Engineering of the UCLM in Albacete, Spain. The problems are solved, but we advise you to solve them without looking at the solution.
An example of a problem is the following:
While fleeing from imperial ship Death Star, Han Solo, at the controls of Millennium Falcon, jumps into hyperspace, deformed by its own speed, which is close to the speed of light (warp deformation), and appears near Tatoo I and Tatoo II, the two suns of Tatooine (the planet where Luke Skywalker is from). The Millennium Falcon must traverse the space between both suns undeflected, so that its thermal plates do not suffer irreparable damage. This situation is analogous to the physical configuration in which you can see the electric field produced by a capacitor and a magnetic field perpendicular to it. Calculate the electric potential difference between the capacitor plates, in MV, in order that the particle with charge q and speed v passes through it in a straight line.
